| These bodies were discontinued in early 90's. They don't make them anymore. I located 2 of them in Japan thanks to a buddy of mine there. I still got him looking for more, but the 2 I got were the last ones the japanese hobby shop had in the display case. Not sure there's many more out there. I know of 1 person that found one on Ebay. Keep in mind, this body i'm using is the one made by ABC Hobbies which to be honest all 300zx bodies are pretty much considered collectors items now days in the R/C world. There is one that is still popular which is the IMSA which you can find on Ebay made by Tamaiya I believe. Then you also have the Kyosho R/C body, which is extremely rare. I've only seen 3 of them online counting the one I bought. I'd would be called a NUT if I said how much it went for after a neck to neck bidding with 2 other people. I'll say I could of purchased the JWT ECU and still have about 90.00 left in cash if that says anything. I guess I'm just a Z-CRAZY. Its never been used and probably never will be. It stored with all my other rare items. The only thing I can say Is keep checking Ebay.

I've got a couple other interesting items. Here is a matchbox 300zx. Unpainted model, pre-production issue never released, plastic base is grey plastic without wording, black interior. Model is unboxed, only 6 of these were made. Please read below some very interesting info as how I was fortunate enough get my hands on this item. MESSAGE FROM THE CREATOR: Mr. Carr - "Between 1975 and 1992 I worked for Matchbox as a designer / engineer doing mould drawings and later toy drawings of the models / toys. Later on I became a project manager where I was in charge of the design of a model. This involved contacting the car companies for information, looking at the real car and spending a day measuring every point on the car and taking around 100 photographs. From here we would get drawings produced, models made and the master pattern made. This information was then sent to Hong Kong where they would make the moulds and put the model into production, the whole process took about a year. One of the models I remember doing was the 300ZX, at the time the car was not available in the UK, so I went to look at one in NJ, USA".
As you can see, all matchbox cars have copyright and matchbox information on the bottom of them. This is one is gray with no writing.
Here's my other item thats very rare: This was the Gold Challenge release of the 300ZX. Only this one was never released as it was also a pre-production. Gold Challenge model, pre-production version never released. The body color is a pale metallic gold, the model that was issued is a bright metallic bronze color. Model is unboxed. Only 25 of these made. This picture has the original CHALLENGE version sealed and never opened, and laying on top is the unboxed never released version of the Challenge. Notice the Gold Flakes are not present. This one was also purchased from the same guy MR. Carr
